RSPCA Youth & Animal Program – Hands-On Learning, Real Impact
This Term 4, Australian Homeschool Hub is excited to partner with RSPCA NSW to offer a special hands-on educational experience for homeschooled high school students in Years 7–12.
Held at RSPCA Yagoona, this three-hour program will give students the opportunity to explore real-world animal welfare topics while developing empathy, confidence and respect for animals.
During the program, students will:
Learn about animal behaviour and body language.
Build empathy, compassion and respect for animals.
Explore stereotypes and other real-life animal welfare issues.
Receive a Certificate of Completion—a valuable addition to learning portfolios and future CVs.
Program details
Location: RSPCA Yagoona
Time: 9:00am–12:00pm
Cost: $20 per student
Age group: High school students only, Years 7–12
Capacity: Maximum 25 students per session
What to bring: Lunch and a pencil case
Attendance: Australian Homeschool Hub subscribers only
This is a fully supervised drop-off excursion. Parents and guardians are not required to attend. Students will be supervised by Australian Homeschool Hub supervisors with current Working With Children Checks, together with RSPCA staff.
